Makeup Revolution X Tammi Tropical Carnival Eyeshadow Palette | Review & Swatches

 Eyeshadows have been my forever fascination. They are colorful and just like nail polishes hold a huge potential for various makeup looks. Recently I got some eyeshadow palettes from Makeup Revolution and here is one of them. This one is made in collaboration with Tammi, one of the celebrity makeup artist known around the world. Revolution X Tammi Tropical Carnival Palette marks their second collaboration with the YouTuber. This electric-hued set is packed with 18 striking matte and shimmer shades. Ingredients

Shades

This pack is an assortment of matte colors and shimmer shades. You can use all of them on your face as well as your eyes for various makeup projects. 

How to Use

Blend the shadows seamlessly together, using darker shades in the crease, and lighter hues along the brow bone and inner corners of the eye.
Using a smudge or liner brush, apply one of the darker shades along the top and bottom lash line.
With your ring finger, or by using a setting spray on an eyeshadow brush, apply the shimmer shade to the center of your eyelid to amp up the glamour.

Packaging & Texture

The packaging is very attractive and sturdy. It is a black palette with a mirror inside. Sadly there is no brush or applicator that comes along so you will have to get a brush or use your fingers. It is slim and fits perfectly in a makeup bag, given it is slightly large. The texture of the eyeshadows and pressed pigments is smooth allowing you to blend them together and get an even finish. There is very little fallout, none actually even if you use your brush to apply them. The shimmer particles are milled nicely in the formulation so it also looks fabulous. 

All the shades are very pigmented and come up nicely. You do not need a primer to get decent color. However, with primer or base, it will look extremely vibrant. 

Is it worth buying?

Totally worth buying. It has nice colors and incredibly pigmented shades. You can create various looks for day as well as night with these. They are perfect for festivals and such occasions like weddings. I personally loved it. I am a beginner at eye makeup and yet it looks great when I create makeup looks. So I will say that it is easy to use for everyone with basic makeup knowledge.
