Roasted Chiwra Snack | Easy Homemade Recipes
Who doesn't love to try an easy yet delicious recipe while in lock-down or when you are getting bored and wish to eat something without putting too many efforts. Even I feel that on some days and I do have some secret recipes that help me curb that in between meals hunger pangs or cravings. Today, I will share with you this very simple Indian snack which is not only healthy but is quite easy to make. You need just 3-4 ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen lying around right now.
What you need
- 3 Katori Thin chiwra
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes (Finely chopped)
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 1 lemon
- 1tbsp desi ghee
- 1/2tsp red chilly powder
- 1/2tsp Chaat masala
- Salt to taste

Steps
1. Heat desi ghee in a large pan and add thin chiwra to it.
2. Roast it on medium flame by stirring it continuously to avoid burning.
3. Roast it until it becomes crispy and looks slightly golden brown in color or has puffed up a bit.
4. Now transfer it to a large bowl
5. Add finely chopped tomatoes, onions, spices, and juice of one lemon to this bowl. You can also add salted peanuts or roasted peanuts if you want a bit more crunch and flavor.
6. Mix well and serve!
