Nicka K Perfect 9 Nine Makeup Palette | Review & Swatches

Eyeshadows are my new obsession. Previously I had a large palette with over 50 colors and blushes by ADS. It was cheap and perfect for someone who wants to practice various looks trying them all out. The only con to that palette was the pigmentation and lasting. So I wanted to switch to some of the smaller and better palettes containing a variety of shades and lots of glitters. I love glitters so that is my first priority in any eyeshadow palette. It should have few matte shades and lots of shimmer and glitter ones. While I was looking around, this new brand on Nykaa caught my eye. Nicka K contains really nice looking yet very cheap cosmetics so out of curiosity and because it was looking so gorgeous, I got this palette for myself. Let's review it.

Nicka K New York Nine Color eyeshadow is available in dazzling three sleek palettes each perfect for creating uniquely colorful eyes. Each palette features nine vibrant shades and an applicator for blending, to highlight, define and contour eyes.

Cost 

It is priced at Rs. 550 for 14 grams of the product but I got it at a discounted price of mere Rs. 275 online. You can also get it at a discount.

Shade

This one is in shade AP018. It contains 8 eyeshadow shades and one blush shade.

How to Use

Apply a primer on your eyelids and play it up with shades of your choice. The glitter in it gives it a perfect sparkle for evening parties, club nights, dates, weddings or whenever you need that sparkle.

Packaging & Texture

It comes in a standard eyeshadow palette with an applicator. The applicator is not very outstanding so I will advise you to use your own eyeshadow brushes for applying it. The texture is quite smooth and easy to blend. What I don't like about this palette is that the glitters are only on the top layer and once you reach down, the glitters were very less, if you know what I mean.

It is matte shade mixed with glitters. If you buy it thinking the glitters are all over mixed well in the formula, you need to look for any other eyeshadow palette. However, at this price, it is perfectly okay for me. I like the pigmentation of the colors. In one or two swipes, you can easily get a nice shade on your eyes. I prefer using a primer on your eyes before applying the eyeshadow.

My Take

If you are looking for a budget-friendly eyeshadow with good pigmentation, glitters, and blendable quality, this can be your pick. It is easy to pick up the eyeshadow with brush and blend it nicely all over the lid to get the pop of the color. It also contains a blush shade with nice glitters in it which you can use to highlight the apple of your cheeks. Overall, this is a good palette with nice pigmentation and quality. I loved the detailed ingredient list as well mentioned on the back of the palette. not a lot of brands do this anymore. Also, the glitters stay on your eyelid even after several hours even if you do not use a setting spray on your face. It looks glittery, but the lower layer of the shadow is not that glittery if you know what I mean.

It contains a Highlighter blush too...



This highlighter blush is the best part of this entire eyeshadow palette. It is so glittery with a holographic effect and nice pigmented pink shade.
