Kaffberry | Happening place for Date in Jammu
Since I have moved to Jammu, I am always in search of happening places to hang out with my hubby and guess what! I found this amazing gem of a place in the city. Located in Plot No. 2 Sector 2 Chani Himmat, Jammu, Kaffberry is hip and happening at the same time, very sophisticated.
Being a vegetarian, it is not always easy for me to find a place where I can enjoy good bakery products with a nice cup of coffee but over here, it is possible. The best part of this cafe is the ambiance. It is located a little outside the hustle-bustle of the city offering you a comforting calm.
The seating area is ample over here with the larger area inside and a couple of tables outside if you are looking for some privacy. I am not sure if it was a busy day or the waiting staff is like that but it took us a while to get someone's attention for giving order and getting our dishes served. They even got confused with the orders.
Food was amazing over here with relishing coffee, topped with a brownie. It was served with 2 cookies, which was a nice touch for me. We also ordered Pao Bhaji cheese fondue, Crispy Cottage cheese Burger, and Nutella Chocolate waffle topped with ice cream. Since the food was for two people, it was quite a lot of filling and heavy. Trust me, when you order that cheese fondue Pao bhaji, avoid other dishes, especially for a couple. The burger came with potato wedges with spice sprinkled all over which was a nice touch and that waffle was to die for. I loved it all!
If you ask me, the cost was not much for such a place, food, and ambiance. I don't exactly remember the exact number but it was somewhere around 1000-1200 for everything including taxes.
For me, it is a must-visit with family, friends or when you want to spend some quality time with your sweetheart. This was my review of the place. If you have already been here, tell me your thoughts in the comments down below!
