Faces Canada Velvet Matte Lipstick Sweet Amber 01 | Review & Swatch

I have so many products to review and trying to post them as soon as possible. Today, I have this new lipstick that I got in Faces Canada haul. I bought 3 lipsticks and nail polishes from this brand and will review them soon. This one is Faces Canada Velvet Matte lipstick in Sweet amber shade. This is a matte lipstick with a creamy finish. Let's check out how it faired for me!

Shade

There are more than 20 shades in this lipstick range but I got the Sweet Amber 01 shade. It is a warm caramel amber shade with subtle orange tones in it.

How to Use

• Start at the center of the upper lip and move outward toward the corners.
• Apply the lipstick to the lower lip.
• Blend to get the perfect finish.

Packaging & Texture 

This comes in a stylish sleek golden and black packaging with a transparent cap. The texture of the lipstick is pretty smooth and creamy with matte finish. I love how it feels on my lips. Generally, matte lipsticks tend to be drying for the lips making them dry and crack. But this adds a nice moisturizing layer. The color pays off is also amazing.  You can get a nice color with one or two swipes. It lasts for about 2-3 hours which is a sad part, but I love the color so worth it.

My Take

I love Faces Canada lipsticks and glosses and this is one brand that I have been using for a very long time. Faces Canada Velvet Matte lipstick sweet amber shade is also a nice lipstick with good color pay off. It glides on the lips smoothly without making them dry or settling in the crease. Matte finish is gorgeous and looks great. However, the color does not last for long. It has a lasting power of about 3 hours max without eating or drinking anything. Also, it transfers a little. I love the color and finish and might try other shades from this range.
