Laneige Cream Skin Refiner 50ml Review
Laneige has been known for its moisturising products be it sleeping lip mask or the water bank sleep masks. All the products that I have tried are very gentle on the skin and make it feel soft and plump. So when I heard about this Laneige Cream Skin Refiner toner, I thought of trying it out so I got the 50ml version of it. It is a liquid moisturiser that has a runny consistency and is said to be designed to give hydration to the deep layers of the skin. Let's find out more about this in the review.

The formula is quite short and doesn’t contain many active ingredients. The main ones:
– as a unique skincare product, for a super simple routine:You can use after cleansing and patting your skin dry. Just pour a few drops of the product into the palm of your hand (between 3 and 5 drops) and apply them to your face and neck by dabbing. After a few seconds, the product is absorbed and leaves the skin comfortable and protected.
In this case, it replaces the toner, essence, serum, and moisturizer. Perfect if you don’t have time to do a complete skincare routine or if you come back home super late!
– instead of your essence if you have dry skin or require more comfort than usual:Especially in winter, if it’s very cold, or if the skin is damaged and needs a repairing product, the Cream Skin Refiner is perfect to add an extra layer of comfort and protection to your routine without weighing down your skin. In this case, you can use it after your toner, and before your serum, oil and/or moisturizing cream (instead of your essence).
– as an express moisturizing mask:You soak several cotton pads with the Cream Skin Refiner, you place them on the driest areas of your face, on clean skin and leave them on for a few minutes (up to 20 minutes). No need to rinse, you just remove them and keep on with the rest of your skincare routine.
– as a moisturizing mist during the day:You can pour the product into a bottle with a spray and mist it during the day if the skin suffers from intense dryness (perfect in winter or if you are exposed to heating or air conditioning all day). I wouldn’t be surprised if LANEIGE releases a mist version very soon! 😉
– instead of your moisturizer:That’s how I prefer to use it! I use it at the end of my routine because I love this texture and my skin stays comfortable all day long with it. I pour 4 to 5 drops of the product into the palm of my hand and apply it by pressing it on my face and neck.
Usually, a single layer of product is enough for me, but if I feel that my skin is feeling extra dry, I don’t hesitate to layer it (up to 2 or 3 layers).
I have tried refiner skins or toner from Laneige and it is the best brand for moisturising the skin. Very effective and lightweight, they make the skin bright and plump instantly. If you have tried it, do tell me all about it in the comments below!

- Meadowfoam Seed Oil: an emollient ingredient. It softens, protects and helps the skin to retain its moisture for a long time.
- White Leaf Tea Water: this water is very rich in amino acids and has the property of strengthening the skin barrier. Ideal for very dry and damaged skin!
- Glycerin: a moisturizing ingredient.
- Green tea and Vitamin E: two antioxidant ingredients to protect the skin.

Packaging & Texture
Laneige Cream Skin Refiner comes in a translucent plastic bottle with a sturdy screw cap on top. The 150 ml version, on the other hand, is available in a mattified glass bottle. There is a small opening that allows a small quantity of the product to come out. I like this packaging as you can see how much product is left while monitoring every usage. The texture of the cream skin refiner is very runny but it is very moisturising in nature. It is easily absorbed into the skin without leaving any greasy layer on top. It is also free of any artificial fragrance making it easy for people with sensitive noses and skin.My Take
Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is a nice gentle way to add moisture to the skin. I have combination skin with oily T-zone and dry cheeks which makes it difficult to rely on cream-based moisturisers. I like how lightweight this is and how gentle it is for my skin. I add it to a spray pump and spray it all over my skin whenever it feels dry or after applying the makeup for that natural glow. It really feels nice. The formula is also very short with few ingredients and free from artificial fragrance, parabens and silicons or alcohol which are not good for the skin. You will need a very little quantity, just about a few drops so this tends to last for a long period. I am about halfway to finish this 50 ml bottle, took more than 1 month, so it will last about 2-3 months. I will buy the full-size bottle once this finished. Currently, I am using it along with Laneige Perfect Renew kit.Pros
