Paneer Tikka Biryani | Homemade Recipe
Are you fond of paneer and rice? Well, if you are then this is the recipe you have been looking for. A delicious and fascinating take on the traditional biryani with a twist of paneer tikka, you will be amazed by the taste of Paneer tikka biryani.
It is very easy if you know how to cook but if you are not sure about how to boil water, just follow the recipe and your heart. Let's get started. First, you will need to keep all the ingredients together so you don't get confused or miss something important.
Curd - 2 cups
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Paneer - 500 gm
Capsicum red & green - 1 cup each
Oil - 2 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon stick - 2 small sticks
Green cardamom - 3 to 4 pieces
Clove - 1/2 Tsp
Black cardamom - 2 piece
Sliced onion - 3 cups
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Tomato - 1 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 Tsp
Green chilli chopped - 1 Tsp
Biryani masala(any brand) - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Curd - 1 cup
Paneer(was baked earlier)
Parboiled cumin basmati rice - 600 gm
Saffron milk - 1/2 cup
Freshly chopped coriander - 1 tbsp
1. Marinate paneer and capsicum with tandoori masala prepared from curd, dry spices, mustard oil and salt. Spread marinated paneer on a tray and bake it at 180-degree centigrade for 15 mins or just shallow fry on griller or tawa and keep it aside.
2. Now heat oil and ghee in a pan, add whole spice as per video and put sliced onions cook it on a high flame until onion turns into light golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste stir well right after that add diced tomato, red chilli powder and green chopped chilli give a nice stir add salt and now add biryani masala and stir
3. Pour fresh curd stir well and cook it on a low flame. Add cooked paneer give gentle stir make sure biryani base is well coated with paneer. Now spread par boiled cumin rice on top of biryani base pour some saffron milk and sprinkle freshly chopped coriander. Cover with lid and cook it on dum for 20 mins or medium flame.
4. Serve hot with some fresh raita.
