1) Vitamin C products are best used during the evenings rather than the mornings.
2) Follow up with sunscreen when used during the day.
3) If it’s the first time using vitamin C, a minor tingling may be experienced.
*This is normal process due to the difference of pH levels in the skin and the vitamin C. It is absolutely safe to use.
4) A slight warming sensation may be felt upon application. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs as the pure vitamin absorbs into the skin.
5) As the skin can easily be irritated, it is not recommended to apply this serum after exfoliators (e.g. AHA, BHA products)
1) Recommended storing in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. I keep it inside my dresser, rather than on it.
2) For the best effect of vitamin C, please use it within 2-3 months after opening.
3) If a slight colour change occurs, the effects of the product will not be influenced.
4) Due to the 5% vitamin C within the product, the colour change can occur.
To avoid colour change, please store in a dark, cool and dry place such as the fridge or cupboard.
With all the benefits it has done for my skin, I am giving it a permanent place on my vanity. I hope you loved reading it and will try the Vitamin C drops by Dear, Klairs soon. Do share your experience with me in the comments below!

Why I love this product!
I have a sensitive skin so I was a little worried about it breaking me out, but to my surprise, it didn't. I use it after double cleansing my skin ( You can read more about it in my Korean Beauty Regime blog) and toning it every day at night. I have some dark spots caused by acne and it has helped in reducing the pigmentation. It is very little right now, but noticeable. The texture of my skin has also become better with a slight glow. My skin has been loving it! Also, it is- Cruelty-free
- Ethanol-free
- Paraben-free
- Silicon-free
- Steroid-free
- Artificial colouring-free
- Artificial fragrance-free
- pH 3.5 ± 1.0
Pros
- It is paraben free and silicon free
- Feels oily but gets absorbed in the skin well, leaving a matte finish.
- You can mix it in moisturisers and serums
- Helps in reducing pigmentation
- Improves texture of skin
- Little goes a long way
- Travel friendly
- Simple, but enough for good skin.
Cons
- A little pricy
- Not available easily
- Can tingle your skin a bit
- Be careful if you have sensitive skin
- Can cause breakouts so test it first by mixing in serum or moisturiser
