Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel: Review
Aloe vera gel is known for its healing properties. I wanted a good aloe vera gel which I can use daily since chopping down a leaf from the plant and extracting gel from it gets a little messy. I have been seeing Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel for quite some time and thought about getting one for me.
Patanjali has re-branded their Aloe Vera Gel for making it a part of their Saundarya Skin Care range and now several outlets are selling the new version which is Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel. So, if you are getting it for the first time and has the old packaging one, it is better to check the manufacturing date and best before date for making an informed buying decision. Don't freak out for it being the fake product, it is just an old packaging one.
According to the brand
Aloe Vera plants have medicinal properties and hence are widely used in treating the burns, cuts, insect bites and several other skin ailments. This is one product that you must keep in your house, so that you can easily treat the kitchen burns and other injuries without wasting time.

My Take
This is the closest to an affordable 'purest' aloe vera gel available over the counter.I love how it moisturizes my skin and has helped in improving the texture of my skin. I can't say it is effective on tanning, wrinkles and pimples. It looks slight green in tube but while applying it is transparent. I massage my skin with it every night and prefer to leave it over night. What I don't like about it is how it becomes sticky on drying. If you wish to use it as a primer or leave on your face for the day, I would suggest to take only pea size amount.
Pros
- Affordable aloe vera gel
- Easy to use
- Good quantity for the price
- Multiple uses ( skin, hair, burns)
- Moisturises skin well
- Have a soothing effect on my skin
- Made my skin better in texture.
- Travel friendly
- Easily available
- A little goes a long way
Cons
- Not 100% natural as it says while marketing.
- Contains arttificial coloring
- Feels a little sticky once it dries
Overall, I am happy with Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel. It is a good buy if you want something soothing for your skin.
