Biotique Orange Peel Body Revitalizing Soap: Review
Exfoliation is a must for glowing skin. In my beauty regime, I make sure to exfoliate my skin, face and body included, well at least 2-3 times a week. Exfoliation helps in removing dead skin, tan, and all kinds of impurities, allowing fresh skin to come up.
In this wedding season, you have to look your best with glowing skin all the time. Spending thousands on beauty facials every week or month is not possible for everyone of us so exfoliation is the key to have that healthy glow. Adding it to your daily is important and bathing is the right time to exfoliate. Since I have tried and owned several exfoliating soap, when I saw Biotique Orange Peel rejuvenating soap, I thought of giving it a try.
Let's go ahead with review!

My Take
Biotique Orange Peel Body Revitalizing Body Soap is 100% ayurvedic and organic, making it a perfect soap if you are looking for something gentle for your skin. My skin is normal and I find that it does not dry it. As compared to other general soaps, it is not as lathering. But it is normal with most of the non drying exfoliating soaps. I use my loofah after applying the soap, which helps in forming more lather. Exfoliating particles are very few but seem effective.

I will advise not to use it vigorously on your facial skin as these particles are a little harsh on soft delicate facial skin. Fragrance is good and stays for about an hour or two on my skin. It cleans up well leaving a fresh revitalizing feeling on the skin. I am not sure about cell renewal process though. It is a very basic exfoliating soap, rather more of a bathing soap.
Pros
- It is organic and free from preservatives
- Not tested on animals
- 100% ayurvedic
- Fine exfoliating particles are there to remove dead skin
- Makes your skin feel refreshed
- Has a fine orange fragrance
- Good quantity for the price
- Praraben free
- Easily available. I bought mine from local grocery store.
Cons
- Not suitable for face. Little too harsh for delicate facial skin.
- Lathers less
- Does not exfoliate that well as expected. You cannot feel particles on your skin after applying the soap.
- Not suitable for people with sensitive skin or has rashes on skin
- Might be drying for people with dry skin.
Lots of Love!!!
