Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Green, Black, Grey: Review & Swatches
Kajal is the absolute necessity for me. Without applying kajal, I cannot step out of the house. There were times when I did it, and everyone including my best friend thought I am sick. Well, it is not only a beauty need but a product that actually lightens up your eyes and your face. You can look fabulous instantly by applying kohl on your waterline.
Today I will review my most favorite kajal, Lakme Eyeconic Kajal!
I have been using Lakme Eyeconic kajal since the day it was launched by Lakme, one of my favorite beauty brands. It is available in 8 shades: Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Royal Blue, Regal Green, Turquoise and White.
I will review 3 shades of these 8, Black, Green and Grey. By far, it is the best kajal for college girls, maybe, best kajal in India at this price. Let's get started with the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal review!

Packaging
Packaging is very sleek and travel friendly. Although it can be a little confusing since all the shades are packed in the same packaging. You can identify them with the color name mentioned at the bottom on a turquoise blue stripe.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal: Grey
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Grey is smokey grey in color and great for a dual colored smokey eye look. You can create different looks using grey with other colors!
However, using it on waterline is not advisable. Color turn out on the waterline is very less and looks rather odd.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal: Green
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Green is a very pretty dark green kajal with a hint of smokish black. You ca see the swatch below. It looks really pretty on the eyes. However, on smudging it can leave a greenish shadow around your eyes.
It claims to last for 22 hours, but can start smudging in just about 2-3 hours, on a hot humid day.
The texture is smooth and color turn out is pretty nice. If you are applying on the waterline, you might have to apply two layers for proper color turn out.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal: Black
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black is the perfect every day kajal for a basic look. You can use it on the waterline as well as an eyeliner. It does not cause any irritation if applied on the waterline.
Against the claims, it does not last for 22 hours at all. The maximum
Pros:
- Budget friendly kajal
- Wide range of colors
- Decent color turn out and texture
- Waterline friendly
- Travel friendly
- Considerable amount given the price
- Great as kohl as well as eye liner.
Cons:
- Smudges (Lasts only about 2-3 hours on hot summer day)
- Does not come out easily after washing eyes. You will have to use a gentle eye makeup remover every time.
- Color turn out of grey is not good. Rest of the colors are fine.
Hope you loved the review and will try it. Share your thoughts with me.
Lots of Love!!!
