SQ Stay Quirky Nail Color Remover: Review
For a nail art and nail polish lover, nail polish remover is very crucial. If you are like me, you might have been using nail polish remover several times a week. When you use remover so many times, it is important that the remover is of good quality. Until now I have been using Sally Hansen Nail polish remover with Vitamin E but it is no longer available anywhere. In search of a perfect polish remover, I bought SQ Stay Quirky Nail Color remover with Vitamin E.
Website Claims
Why should only polishes be quirky. Go quirky with colours even with your removers. It works so smooth on the nails and looks so cute with dual colour tones in it.
- Go quirky with colours even with your removers
- It works so smooth on the nails and looks so cute with dual colour tones in it
- If you wish to nourish your nails while leaving behind no trace of polish on them, then this is your go to bottle
- If you want to moisturize your nails while leaving no stains behind on them then this is your go to bottle.
It is a dual tone purple nail polish remover with Vitamin E. Ingredients are not mentioned in it but I think it has Acetone like any other remover.
Cost: Rs. 110 for 50ml
Smell
Stay Quirky Dual tone remover has a weird very strong smell. If you are planning to use it, make sure to do it in a well ventilated room.
Packaging
Packaging is very cute. It comes in a glass bottle with a pin hole outlet. The outlet makes it a bit of task to take out the remover on cotton bud. Although the cap closes firmly but being glass bottle, I will advise you not to carry it around in your bag.
I tried it on polish with glitter top coat. As per me, the real test for a remover is on glitter polish. You can actually tell if the remover works properly or not.
As you can see in the image, it was a bit of task to remove the polish as well as glitter top coat.
I had to actually wrap my nails on a cotton bud filled with remover following it with foil for about 5 minute. Even after that, it took me couple more minutes to remove polish properly.
After several cotton buds and a hard labor, I was finally able to remove the polish. The remover says it has Vitamin E but does not have any moisturizing properties in it. My nails as well as cuticles were dry and dead.
Pros

- Cost friendly
- Good quantity
Cons
- Takes a lot of time to remove polish
- Almost works nill on Glitter polish'
- Dries nails and cuticles
- Strong smell
- No mention about ingredients
I hope you liked the review. Do share your points on it if you have tried SQ Stay Quirky remover.

I was thinking to buy this one. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteI have their remover too and I feel like it's just acetone with color. It smells bad and evaporates too quickly! But the bottle is definitely super cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is just the bottle which is good about it. No moisturisation at all as it says. Overall, it is just a fancy acetone and nothing else.
