DIY- FLORAL GARDEN NAIL ART
Who could have imagined nails as a canvas, open all the time to show off your creativity? When I first started painting my nails, never realized I could draw on them too!
Girls, who are new to this concept, often find nail art pictures mesmerizing while checking them out on the internet. However, trying them is out of the question. Like most of the girls, I also tried to keep my nails restricted to any nail art with lines and dots only. Those lavish pictures and scenes seemed to be a bit difficult, out of my league. Using those nail art brushes and dotting tools seemed a bit of tedious task, something a professional does, not me!
But when I actually started doing that, trying new things on my nails, it turned out to be very easy and simple to do. Even though you can’t draw a straight line on a paper, these nail arts are a piece of cake for you. For all you girls and nail art lovers out there, here is a Floral Garden nail art DIY for you!
- Faces Splash Royal Ruby 24
- Faces Splash Aureolin 02

- Maybelline Color Show Porcelain Party 102
- Maybelline Color Show Crazy Berry 218
- Maybelline Colorama Verde Palmeira
- A top coat
- Dotting tool
- Nail art brushes
If you do not have dotting tool and nail art, you can use Two-way nail art pen as well. For making dots in this nail art, you can a toothpick or a bobby pin.
Steps:
Step 1: Remove any remaining traces of polish or dirt from your nail. Now use a buffer and a buff your nails a bit. Apply 2 coats of Maybelline Color show Porcelain party. If you have any other white nail polish, you can use that as well.
Step 2: Once it has dried, take a small plate or plastic sheet. Put one drop of desired nail polish on it and use the dotting tool or bobby pin for making flowers on your nails. You can refer to the picture. Be random in making these flowers. I have made three on each nail of my three fingers, leaving thumb and pinky finger. You can make as many as you want!

Step 3: Let them dry. Now, using the pin or dotting tool again but with a smaller diameter, make small dots in the middle of the flowers for a finishing touch.
Step 4: Use the nail art brushes or striping brush from your two-way nail art pen and green color polish for making the stem and leaves. Take it as a drawing assignment or making doodles with polishes. Using the same brush, you can make some grasses near the cuticles for added effect. Let it dry.
Step 5: Using the Fan nail art brush or a toothbrush, and all the colors you have used in flowers make random stripes on your Thumb and pinky fingernail. See how I have done on my thumb.
Step 6: Seal your work of art with transparent polish or topcoat of your choice. If available, you can use the matte top coat as well giving it a matte look. Voila! Your painting is ready!
See, how easy it is to draw on your nails. If you do not have a steady hand, you can practice on a plastic sheet as well before working on your nails. Check out the DIY pictures and have fun!
Hope you loved it!
Lots of Love!!!
