Renaissance Cosmetics Spring 2015 Collection Swatches + Review

Hi guys! Hope your week is going well so far. Today I'm sharing swatches from the new spring 2015 collection by Renaissance Cosmetics. They are temporarily closing up shop at the end of the month, so make sure you pick up your favorite shades before they sell out!

Anyway, the spring collection consists of eight unique shades:

So, we've got two glitter toppers, one full coverage microglitter, and five crellies - three of which are beloved white crellies! They are all gorgeous and unlike anything in my collection, and as usual, application is easy with their wide, flat brush. Let's get started!

I absolutely have to start with my favorite - Daybreak is a glitter topper packed with multichrome flakes and white satin glitters in various shapes and sizes. You can see the shift from gold to fuchsia in my photo - isn't it flawless?! No fishing or dabbing required, I just applied this glitter like any regular polish. Shown above is one coat over black!

Flora is the second glitter topper in this collection - lavender, pink, and blue satin glitters in various sizes and shapes mixed with iridescent shimmer and a light dusting of multichrome flakes make up this versatile shade! It looks good over almost any color, and the iridescent shimmer adds a delicate and feminine quality. Again, no fishing or dabbing required - shown above is one coat over pink.

Petals & Things is a full coverage microglitter - well, I would consider this a microglitter due to the dense texture, but it is actually packed with tiny multichrome flakes! The color shift on this is incredible, but for the most part, it appears to be purple and gold. Shown above is just two coats for full opacity.

Onto the crellies! Spring Found Me is a super light beige, almost white, crelly packed with pastel microglitters. This is such a yummy looking color, it reminds me of frosting! This shade was a bit more sheer than the other white crellies - shown above is three easy coats with top coat.

Winter Sleeps is another favorite of mine. This white crelly is packed with various shades of blue glitters, as well as some gold and a tiny hint of copper shimmer. At first, this one looked more like a winter shade to me, but the brightly colored glitters are just perfect for warmer weather! This one is opaque in two, but for the photo above I painted three coats with top coat.

Tiny Petals Everywhere is the next white crelly - this one is a color explosion! It's packed with turquoise, purple, and red glitters, and I can see a tiny hint of shimmer in this one as well. It looks like an awesome color for warm weather! I think I'll be rocking this one in the summer. Again, this one is opaque in two coats, but you're looking at three coats with top coat.

Earliest Spring is a gorgeous soft blue filled with fuchsia shimmer and multichrome flakes. This color is just so unique and pretty! I found in the bottle that this one appeared to have an almost pearly finish, but it just looks like a regular crelly on the nail. Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

A World of Blossoms is the sister to Earliest Spring, a dusty pink crelly filled with blue shimmer and multichrome flakes. This one, unlike its blue twin, did have a more pearly finish on the nail, so careful brushstrokes is a must! Shown above is three easy coats with top coat.

Overall, I am very impressed with this collection. Meghan always brings a unique and interesting palette to her new collections, and the incorporation of the popular multichrome flakes in a unique way brings these polishes to a new level! My favorites are DaybreakWinter Sleeps, and Earliest Spring.

As I mentioned earlier, these colors are selling out quick because Renaissance Cosmetics is going to be closing shop for a few months - and these shades are all on sale for $8 each on their shop page!

Lots of Love!!!
XOXO
