We live and die by our Glamglow
Supermud Clearing Treatment ($69)—seriously, we could use it every day. But that would be a costly addiction to cater to. And as much as we love relaxing in a face mask for 20 minutes, sometimes our schedules require something quicker. This blackhead scrub checks all the boxes—fast, cheap (you already have all the ingredients in your kitchen), and most importantly, effective.

Prep
Start with clean skin. (This would be the perfect time to give yourself a steam facial.) And gather your ingredients. You’ll need dry oatmeal, baking soda, and the juice of a lemon.Add Oatmeal
Pour 1/4 cup oatmeal into a small mixing bowl. (If the oats are large, you may want to grind them down with a mortar and pestle or food processor first.) Oatmeal gently exfoliates and absorbs excess oil to keep your pores clean. Add Baking Soda Next, add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Baking soda acts as a deep pore cleanser, removing dead skin cells and balancing your skin. Add Lemon Juice Then add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Lemon is a natural astringent and antibacterial that eliminates the blackhead-causing dirt and debris in your pores. Plus, the high levels of vitamin C give your skin a brightening boost. Mix Mix all the ingredients into a paste. The combination of baking soda and lemon juice will cause the mixture to fizz a little bit—that’s normal. Check the Consistency If your scrub is a little too dry, add more lemon juice. If it ends up too watery, add more oatmeal until you reach a paste consistency. Scrub And now you can scrub. Apply the mixture to damp skin, and work it in for about a minute. Use gentle, circular motions and really focus on the areas that are prone to blackheads (like the nose and chin). Rinse and pat dry. Lots of Love!!!
